WHAT TO EXPECT
As a church our mission is to be Celebrating the Greatness of God by Knowing Christ and Making Him Known. We are happy that you are taking a look at our home on the internet. Why not come out on Sunday to see if we are the way we say we are!
It often feels stressful to go to a new place. With that in mind we want to provide you with a little basic information before your first visit.
We are a Baptist Church affiliated with The Fellowship nationally and FEB Central regionally.
That is an important question. Check out our About Us page for the answer.
We are One Church in Two Locations…Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon.
Nope. Wear what you want to wear. We have people in suits and people in shorts.
Glad you asked. We love great music here at Trentside, but we insist on it being worshipful and meaningful. That means we will sing a song of almost any style (new, old, contemporary, hymn, etc.). We have a full band and love to sing! We’d love for you to come and add your voice to ours. Don’t worry if you think you can’t sing, neither can I.
Our services fill up quickly! We recommended getting to the church 5-10 minutes early so you’re sure to find a seat. We also serve coffee in-between the services at our Bobcaygeon site. If you’re planning to attend the 10:30 am service in Bobcaygeon, come 15 minutes earlier so you can enjoy a cup of coffee.
We aim for a service that is around 50 minutes in length. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
We love kids at Trentside and have a children’s ministry during our morning service so they can learn about God at a level that is appropriate for them. Our Trentside Kid’s program runs at our 10:30 am services at both sites.
When you come in, you will register your kids and then they will accompany you into the auditorium to participate in the morning worship. When it’s time for the teaching, kids will be dismissed to their Trentside Kid’s classes.
At Trentside Baptist Church we record and photograph our gathering and events. We do this to share the powerful story of Jesus working in our community, to provide access to our church for those who cannot attend in person, and to record important spiritual moments in the lives of our attendees and church at large. If you wish to read our full photography & video policy you can do so here.
